CZECH THE LIGHT will light up Czech monuments

CZECH THE LIGHT is back! If you missed videomapping on the Cathedral of St. Barbara in Kutná Hora, do not despair. The team of Czech and foreign artists such as Jakub Nepraš, František Skála, The Macula or Caitlind Brown will light up by art also other major cities of the Czech Republic.

The aim of the festival is to revitalize public spaces and UNESCO monuments via light installations and video mapping. Illuminating iconic objects of the Czech architecture. The festival will also offer a wide range of side events and workshops on the topic of lighting design and painting with light. The project runs from Kutná Hora through Brno, Olomouc, Český Krumlov and will finish by the second Festival of light SIGNAL in Prague. The smaller side events will aslo be held in Plzeň, Hradec Králové, Ostrava and Berlin until the end of October.

One of the project of The Macula was also, among others, project VERNUM, which was used during opening spa season ceremony in Karlovy Vary.
