Disclosure: Caracal

British brotherly duo Disclosure is one of the best and most discussed music projects of the electronic music of the recent years. Talented sibling pair, coming from musical family, composes since childhood. However, the wider musical community of the dance-oriented formation increased its focus after the debut album Settle, which was in 2013 nominated for Grammy awards and received high ratings on server Pitchfork. Two singles from the debut got into the top ten of the British charts. Disclosure enjoyed their commercial success and critical favor and everyone was looking forward their second album.

Everyone had to wait until the end of September, when the store shelves began to fill with Caracal. For its opportunity to check on the unexpected success, the second album is often reffered to as „the album of the truth“ – in the case of Disclosure, the truth lies especially in the musical maturity of both brothers. Where Settle suffered its stylistic restlesness – despite all the musical quailities – the Caracal seems to be really mature record, that does not go off balance even with a series of Cameoes of famous faces of pop music like The Weeknd, Sam Smith, Lorde, Miguel or Gregory Porter. The ease, with which Disclosure brings their vocal contributions to soul-drenched house unit, speaks for itself. Caracal is catchy, sophisticated album, that is, for all its alienness, dangerously easy to listen.
